Community Involvement
We feel strongly that every business, no matter how large or small, has a responsibility to be involved in our community. It is absolutely our responsibility to give back -and we do so in support of public education, the arts and to those in need. We participate in and donate to a multitude of fund-raising events each year. As our community representative, Maxine serves on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations and selects ten groups every year on which to focus her attention more fully. She is a founder of the Women’s Philanthropic Network (WPO) for United Way, the local Make a Wish Foundation and Camp Kostopulos. Maxine has been a guest speaker for the past three years for the Granite School District’s “Pro Start” program. She also serves as part of the, “Follow a Leader” program sponsored by Utah”s KSL-TV and Macy’s. She also serves on the advisory board of Key Bank. Members of the sales department are also involved in the community, including active roles in Executive Women International (EWI).
How can I begin to thank you for all that you did for the students of Granite School District for our Career Seminar held at Cuisine Unlimited. This was the best seminar we have ever done. You simply would not believe the feedback we have been getting from students. Maxine is super motivational and she gives great advice. Students from all the schools represented that day have gone back to their Career Centers to say how great it was. Thank you so much for allowing us to visit, for serving us an incredible lunch, for giving your time and sharing your knowledge. Our community is indeed lucky to have you and Cuisine Unlimited here. -Lori Kizer, Work-Based Learning Specialist
