Noah's Event Venue
Noah's South Jordan location is one of the newest and most versatile venues in the southern part of Salt Lake Valley. It is a perfect midpoint location for events with guests coming from both Salt Lake and Utah Counties. It boasts an outdoor patio area attached to an indoor facility that can seat 300 for a formal dinner. Noah's is a good fit for weddings, rehearsal dinners, family gatherings, and corporate meetings. The rich, dark wood conference rooms, theater-style screening rooms, racquetball courts and billiard room offer an incredible variety of activities. It even has a rooftop ice skating rink in the winter that transforms into a covered patio during the warmer months – perfect for weddings!
Pierpont Place is a hip, stylish downtown venue especially created for planned events. Its design staff creates themed corporate parties, product launches, birthdays and lavish weddings – and no request seems too unusual to take on! This site is full-service, flexible and fun.
The Rail Event Center
Events at this location are always exciting! At 42,000 square feet, “The Rail” is big enough for a corporate trade show, large reception, or any event you could possibly imagine. It features a 1,200-square-foot stage with impressive audiovisual and recording capabilities onsite. Very close to the Gateway and Vivint Smart Home Arena in downtown Salt Lake City, it’s a two-story building – the upper floor is a nightclub-style space with five bars. In all, it can host gatherings of up to 3,500 people!
Red Butte Garden
Part of the University of Utah, this 100-acre site is the largest botanical garden in the Intermountain West. Its Orangerie building allows for events no matter what the weather, and can seat 150 guests or accommodate open receptions for up to 400. The adjacent, lush patios make this a perfect reception spot with a breathtaking view of the city, and guests will love wandering the garden paths. There are smaller, equally lovely sites also available for rent, including the Rose Garden and Rose House, and the Fragrance Garden. At the other end of the spectrum, the outdoor amphitheatre has room for 3,000!
Red Cliff Ranch
When these folks promise a “stunning western mountain backdrop” for special events, they’re not kidding! On more than 200 acres dotted with four lakes, you’ll find a covered, open-sided pavilion, a large rustic barn – either of which can be set for anything from a casual barbecue and hoedown to the most elegant black-tie wedding. Red Cliff Ranch has an event planner onsite to help with the details.
On 2,000 private, wooded acres, you’ll find an 8,000-square-foot barn that can be decorated for weddings and corporate events – and so much more! The friendly proprietors can arrange for fly-fishing lessons in their trophy trout ponds, and arrange horseback riding, four-wheeling and hiking excursions, or winter sleigh rides. Rendezvous Ranch bills itself as “rustic appeal with modern amenities” – making any rendezvous unforgettable.
Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center
This great downtown location is an often-overlooked venue for convention, corporate, and wedding events. Cuisine Unlimited hosted a recent convention cocktail event here for 450 guests, with butler-passed hors d'oeuvres, trendy vertical buffets, and martini ice slides with full bars. The large Rose Room downstairs can seat 300 for a plated dinner. The theater offers three separate theater spaces, with the elegance of a theater and the contemporary design of an artistic venue. It’s a versatile gem, and in close proximity to every downtown stop.
Salt Lake City & County Building
The city & county building is a true architectural landmark, and its park-like setting is a beautiful backdrop for weddings and other private parties, as well as meetings and after-hours get-togethers for business functions. One of the grandest municipal buildings in the United States, it opened in 1892 and is said to be modeled after London's City Hall. The impressive structure mirrors the Romanesque Revival style, with detailed depictions of Utah history carved above doorways, and the faces of pioneers sculpted atop the building's columns. The outside venue is completely shaded with some of Salt Lake’s oldest trees. There is outdoor event space for up to 3,000, and the indoor venue space is on three levels, with each level seating approximately 100 guests or reception-style service for 500.
Salt Lake City Public Library
Salt Lake’s ultra-modern, six-story library contains a lot more than a half-million books! An attractive public plaza, shops and services in a ground-level “Library Square” area, and a variety of meeting and conference spaces are part of this package. We have a couple of favorite spots here: the Rooftop Terrace, with fabulous Wasatch Mountain and city skyline views, accommodates from 100 to 250 people; and the lobby space (the “Urban Room”), with its glass ceiling, can be rented for after-hours events: weddings, dances, company parties, and lots more.
Salt Lake County Equestrian Center
Under the management of Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation, this has been a premiere horseracing, training, and show facility for more than 40 years. The Park has the finest equine amenities in the Western region, including a ¾-mile track, a roomy and classy event center, outdoor and indoor arenas, and a polo field, and all are available for event rental.
The Shop Yoga Studio
The Shop Yoga Studio was once a metal and wood shop connected to Park City High School. Very close to Main Street in Park City, this venue provides a unique setting for a group event. As the name indicates, it operates as a yoga studio on a normal day, but transforms into a versatile event space for special events, like the Sundance Film Festival. It will accommodate up to 300 people for a cocktail reception and 100 for a formal served event. The setting and uniqueness of the building makes this a fun location to entertain.
Sleepy Ridge Clubhouse
Stately elegance with a country club feel and a 177-acre golf course – that’s the Sleepy Ridge Clubhouse. Nothing “sleepy” about this amazing facility! It is organized into three impressive public spaces, and all are available for corporate events and/or grand wedding celebrations. The Sunset Room on the top floor is the largest, at just over 4,100 square feet to comfortably accommodate up to 400 guests. The main-floor Garden Room is accented by a beautiful glassed-in sunroom and garden patio just off the 18th green; it will accommodate up to 200 guests. For more intimate gatherings, the Heritage Room seats up to 40. All the rooms have magnificent fireplaces.
Looking for a great mountain venue for a rustic wedding or fun corporate gathering? There are few places with such a terrific setting nestled at the bottom of Timpanogos Mountain in the Heber Valley. Soldier Hollow is a cross-country ski resort – and one of Utah's Olympic venues – so there are lots of outdoor activities, as well as a cozy lodge. It is best for indoor groups of 150 or less, but “the Hollow” can handle huge outdoor groups and, depending on the season, offers tubing, cross-country skiing, hiking, and trail riding.
Springville Museum of Art
Springville Museum of Art has long been one of Utah County's prime venues for wedding and corporate events. It is a beautiful example of Spanish colonial architecture, originally built in the 1930s, expanded and modernized over the years. Guests love browsing the fabulous art galleries and then enjoying food in the indoor atrium. More than half of the museum’s impressive art collection is by Utah artists! There is also a lovely garden courtyard for outdoor summer events. It is affordably priced and the rental includes tables and chairs.
Modern amenities and Old World flair characterize this former church building from the 1890s. Its chapel has been lovingly restored, and the facility now also serves as a haven for arts and music in the Utah Valley, with an Arts Academy and preschool on-site. The setting is just beautiful, with mountain and lake views, and the interior is a mix of vintage brick, stately columns, and twinkling chandeliers.
This is the Place Heritage Park
Treat your guests to an authentic western pioneer experience at This Is the Place Heritage Park – a fabulous outdoor venue for large groups wanting a mesquite barbecue or elegant reception. Indoor accommodations are available in the venue's great pioneer homes, for groups up to 200. With nine different venues available for rentals, This is the Place complements the unique history of the area.
In Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park, the Tracy Aviary is a bird sanctuary that features more than 130 species. The facility has undergone some dramatic renovations since 2005, including opening the Chase Mill for special event rentals. Built in the 1850s by transplanted New Yorker Isaac Chase, the mill was used to make flour and its output saved many Salt Lake area families during a famine in 1856-57. Today, it is a historic monument as well as a picturesque site for picnics and receptions. Proximity to the aviary’s events and exhibits is a bonus!
University Guest House
The University of Utah’s Guest House and Conference Center is a terrific multi-purpose facility. Business conferences, banquets, and audio-visual presentations can be held in a variety of locations in this 35,000-square-foot venue, including the Post Theater and the Officer's Club. For weddings, there is a charming chapel and many options for receptions, including the elegant Commander's House or outdoors on the expansive lawn. All the facilities were renovated for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, with great care to maintain their historic charm.
Utah Cultural Celebration Center
This 74,000-square-foot facility on 60 acres was designed “to strengthen a sense of unity among the people of the Wasatch front.” It includes some fantastic outdoor event space, including a large amphitheater that can seat 10,000, and a lovely outdoor patio that seats 320. The Great Hall is a banquet room for up to 600 guests, which can be subdivided for smaller groups. There’s also a full kitchen and a slate of spacious meeting rooms. It is big enough for a fair, trade show or large conference, but with spaces intimate enough for a family reunion or wedding.
Utah Museum of Fine Arts
UMFA is currently closed for renovations, but is anticipated to reopen in Spring 2017.
Utah Olympic Oval
This is just the venue for the active crowd! The site of some of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, this five-acre indoor arena features both a running track and ice rink. Guests are encouraged to try their hand at the fact-paced activities of Winter Games athletes: speed skating, figure skating, hockey, and curling, as well as track events. Along with the Utah Olympic Park, this is an inspiring place for team-building events, with conference and meeting rooms as well as dining space.

During the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Olympic Park hosted Nordic ski jumping, bobsled, skeleton and luge events while 300,000 spectators attended the competitions and celebratedUtah’s Olympic spirit. Today, Utah Olympic Park is an Official U.S. Olympic Training Site, dedicated to the growth and development of winter sports and recreation. The Olympic Park offers close to 400 acres of adventure and unique meeting spaces. From intimate retreats to full-service meetings and activities such as Tours, Bobsled Rides, Extreme Tubing and Extreme Zipline there is something for everyone in your group at the Utah Olympic Park for an unforgettable experience!
Utah State Capitol
You don’t have to be a power-broker to feel like one! Just have your meeting or event in the Utah State Capitol Building, built in the early 1900s and beautifully renovated in 2004. From the magnificent second-floor Rotunda (with room for 2,500) to the classy Hall of Governors (capacity 2,300), to a variety of well-appointed conference rooms, this is a delightful alternative to the typical corporate meeting site.
Utah State Fair Park
All in all, there are 20 rental facilities in the 65-acre Utah State Fairpark complex – something for everyone! They include the Promontory Hall at the park’s front entrance, with more than 10,000 square feet and room for 1,500 guests; the two-story Grand Building, with over 27,600 square feet and capacity for 3,600; and the charming Bonneville and Zion buildings for smaller groups. Outdoor options are also plentiful, from the festive grandstand to an arena and adjacent horse barns. Parking and janitorial services are among the amenities for this extremely versatile location.
