Fighting Pesticides

Pesticides have been proven to be cancer causing. A great way to dilute pesticides on our fruits and vegetables is to use a solution of baking soda, lemon juice or vinegar and water. Here is a simple recipe: 


-1 Tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1 cup (250ml) water
-1 Tablespoon of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of apple vinegar and 1 cup (250ml) water
-1 Tablespoon of baking soda, half a cup of vinegar and 1 cup (250ml) of water – for foods covered with wax coating
